The kitchen retains the flavor but the service and the infrastructure are pathetic. Staff go barefoot, sing yellow music, talk loudly. Humid room is low, not taken care of. Lost reputation from the time in Mai Hac De, regrettable

Established in 2001 in HCM, a long-established store in Hanoi. Service is better than before and cospa is also good.There are many Vietnamese customers, but the owner can speak Japanese. There are also many private rooms. There are times when there are no seats unless you make a reservation on weekend nights. Sushi sashimi, grilled food, tempura, and rice are also good. Daotun Road, a main street, is one of the battlegrounds where Japanese restaurants gather.

Nice decor, good food and decent service. We're not Japanese food aficionados though we do enjoy our sushis once in a while. This was quite enjoyable. It was also challenging to communicate with the staff. No one speaks enough English to communicate even the basics. We did put Google Translate to good use and the staff took it in stride and cooperated.I would go back to try their non sushi menu which was quite comprehensive. Price is as much as one can expect while eating medium end sushi. We were 3 adults and 1 child and our meal included 3 plates of maki and temaki rolls, one vegetable noodle soup, 300 ml of sake (one local and one Japanese) and a plate of edamames. All this and we had quite some noodles left for takeaway. This cost us approx 45$ which might be considered good for the quality.In short highly recommended..

Trying out Japanese restaurant near Lotte in Hanoi. This place has good ad be point. Good is this is a Japanese restaurant but they also serve local Vietnamese food. Their Vietnamese food actually not bad. The Japanese food just so so but compare to HCMC is very pricey. I did not see their sashimi or sushi that much better to charge that high comparatively. Some points have to give to their decor and cleanliness except you not mind some big mosquitoes flying around when you dine. If just for Japanese food, I probably will not go there again. But if I need to serve client with Vietnamese food too, I might consider this place again. Their Vietnamese food menu has variet as much as Japanese.

I love Hanayuki. food is quite good and they are kind. usually I bring my guest there for dinner.

Our favourite Japanese restaurant in Ha Noi. Delicious food served here. Sashimi, sushi, fish are all nice. No special with drinks options or desserts. Staffs are friendly.

About 80% of Vietnamese guestsI always have a lot of customers ... I do not know how to taste sushi because it's still sushi.But at least it is better than Indochina Japanese style houses on the first floor.

I am a Japanese food lover, and visit Japanese restaurant at least once a week. This is my first time trying this restaurant in Dao Tan. The food quality is good, but the experience is bad. The smell in the room is stuffy, price is at higher end, the staff is not very attentive (I need to press the service bell at least 2 times, to get the service crew while they are chatting loudly outside).. and worst still sushi doesn’t come together with the pickle ginger. I don’t feel like I am eating in Japanese restaurant.
